So I tried to find a good magic protection symbol, but most often it’s just a pentagram. So I decided to add the alchemical symbols for the five elements, Earth, Wind, Fire, Air, and Iron plus the symbol for Salt, since the latter two are often used to repel different supernatural beings in folklore.
On another note, I’ve finally seen Hellboy: The Crooked Man and while I can understand some of the criticism, I rather enjoyed it. Sure, as a movie, it has a bit of a pacing problem in the first half hour and some of the dialogue felt a wee bit choppy at times. But as an adaption of the classic comic, it was amazingly true to the source material and Jack Kesy might be the best Hellboy actor yet to portray Big Red. I must admit that my expectations were at the lower side, so I was quite frankly pleasantly surprised and wish for a sequel in the same manner!
