The Christmas craze is in full swing, and thus, I once again realize that I’m married to a Grinch. It’s becoming a tradition in and of itself. The wee ones are going nuts about their endless wishlists, showcasing their unadulterated greed without shame or reason. I try to keep my sanity by showing them as many classic holiday movies as possible. Yet, I count down the days until I can relax with my yearly Irish Whiskey after the presents have been torn apart and the candy devoured.
Irish Whiskey recipe:
Coffee, Whiskey (no need to measure it, pour as much as you need), a pinch of coffee cocoa (I use Starbucks’ brand), a handful of tiny marshmallows, spray the top with whipped cream, a pinch of brown sugar and a choco cannoli straw (or filled, your choice). If you want to make it extra Christmasy, add some mint schnapps for that extra holiday buzz.
